Do-it-yourself enthusiasts, who want precise drilling, can fall back in the future to the bench drill PBD 40 of Bosch. It’s technical equipment is particularly precise and very simple to use: A 710 Watt strong universal motor replaces the classical belt drive. Thus the number of revolutions can be adjusted steplessly by a rotary button. Annoying re-clamping of the belt as with conventional bench drills is a thing of the past. The PBD 40 has two speed and constant electronics, which prevent a dropping of the speed even when boring into hard materials.
The drive unit is in such a way stored that the entire engine mount moves with lowering the drill with, instead of only the drill. In this way the work height remains constantly and must be corrected non as usual usually – from bottom to top, in order to work on smaller workpieces.
No matter whether furniture or model construction, tinkering or restoration work: The bench drill PBD 40 is flexibly applicable. The digital display promises special comfort for the user, from which the selected number of revolutions and the reached drilling depth can be read off at any time. So the do-it-yourself enthusiast can steer and supervise the drilling procedure optimally.
The drill is lowered by adjusting wheel with Softgrip surface. It is thought of a high-quality high-speed clamping drill chuck with snap ring. This prevents that the drill chuck seizes or opens unintentionally. Contrary to hand-guided drill presses the drill of the PBD 40 dives always perpendicularly into the workpiece. Owing to integrated depth stop leave themselves precise blind hole drillings in row would drive through in this way. The accurate position of the borehole is marked if necessary by a laser cross. For a good illuminating of the work place the likewise insertable LED light provides.
The robust workbench offers further comfort. A v-groove in the baseplate ensures for the fact that round workpieces rest upon such as pipes reliably. To fix these leave themselves then by high-speed clamping clamp.
Narrow workpieces such as square timbers and – profiles are brought with the help of a parallel guide stop into the desired position. Integrated T-slots serve beyond that the admission of vices, which are available as bosch accessories.
